><p>Das Narcotics Anonymous Programm benutzt ein sehr einfaches, erfahrungsorientiertes Konzept der Sucht. Wir verstehen Sucht als Krankheit, bei der es keine Rolle spielt, welche Droge oder Kombination von Drogen genommen wurde. Die Verwendung des Begriffs \u201eKrankheit\u201c beruht dabei weder auf einer bestimmten medizinischen noch einer besonderen therapeutischen Bedeutung des Wortes. Es liegt ihm lediglich die langj\u00e4hrige Erfahrung der Mitglieder von NA zugrunde. Die darin enthaltenen spirituellen Prinzipien sind der Kern des Genesungsprogramms von NA. Die Mitglieder werden ermutigt, ihr eigenes Verst\u00e4ndnis dieser spirituellen Prinzipien und Werte zu entwickeln. Dieses Verst\u00e4ndnis kann religi\u00f6s sein, muss es aber nicht. Die einzige Voraussetzung f\u00fcr die NA Mitgliedschaft ist deshalb \u201eder Wunsch mit dem Gebrauch von Drogen aufzuh\u00f6ren\u201c. Narcotics Anonymous hat keine Meinung zum Gebrauch von Koffein, Nikotin oder Zucker oder zu anderen, nicht-stofflichen S\u00fcchten und Verhaltensweisen. Auch zur Einnahme von Medikamenten zur Behandlung spezieller medizinischer oder psychiatrischer Zust\u00e4nde wird von NA keine Stellung bezogen. Dies sind pers\u00f6nliche Entscheidungen.
